I'm wanting to know what the legal career path is like in the us navy?

I'm wanting to join the navy and looking at the different career paths the legal interests me the most. I'm wanting to know what is the job like, are you on board ships a lot or is it more shore based job, do you have to have any preliminary training before you enlist, I'm fresh out of high school education wise, any other general stuff about this career would be great. Also I can't find it on the Navy's website, where is the "A" school for the legal career located? Thanks
