REALISTIC CED-1 VIDEO DISC PLAYER?

ok, i dont wanna get ripped off, and my mom had this guy come bring carpet to instil, and he owns a star wars girft shop, and the total price of the carpet was 500, then he say the video thing ( its a weird old od from way long ago and plays these huge sqaure discs) and she has all 3 original star ways, he said he would do the carpet and instal it for free for the video thing, im thinking its gotta be alot????
