Have any of you ever been scammed?

Yeah, I had a very humbling craigslist experience and I've been duped over a thousand dollars looking for a jobby. Everyone says if it's too good it probably is, yes we all know. But since we all want to think were're smarter than that it's easy to call me stupid. I am very humbled and ashamed to realize that I really can be that stupid..and it's okay. So I'm reaching out for some support and advice too about where to go from here I guess? Or if anyone just wants to join the new club I'm starting called the gullible and the deceived come on down, it's free. The needy and the desperate always get taken advantage of anyway.. some advice or words of encouragement anyone? Thanks
