I Broke my 5th metatarsal on 28 Dec 06, the bone was displaced too.?

I have been in a slab cast for 10 days then a full walking cast for a week so far, im going back on tue to see the consultant Im still in lots of pain, especially in the evenings... When should I expect this stabbing, throbbing pain to go??
