I have a 7 month er spaniel he's constantly peeing especially when he is excited does anyone have tips

i work 2 - 11 pm does anyone have an idea of a routine i could set up for my 7 month old er spaniel so that i can housebreak him ..... ooh he is always peeing i dont know what to do my tile are begining to smell no matter how much i clean them the pee seeps in between ..... how can i train him not to pee when he is excited ?
