I have a problem and I'm worried about it. Please help!?

Okay, so I like this guy and I think he likes me too. All of my friends like him too. And every day at lunch he looked at me all the time, but in a dreamy look. But since school is over (it did not just end), Im starting a new grade. 8th grade. And I heard alot of people change in this grade. So I'm afraid that he will change and not be the same guy. Help!
